Review your order history
Unsure whether you need to order a new bag of Chicken & Duck – Adult Dog every week or two weeks? What about subscribing for a larger bag so your orders can be more spread out?
One easy way to see how frequently you should set up your Hypro Premium deliveries is to check your order history with us. If you see that in the past you’ve generally bought dry food every couple of weeks, then choose a fortnightly subscription. And if you realise later that it’s too much or too little, you can customise your recurring orders.
Use our feeding guides
Another helpful tool is to use our feeding guide. 1 cup (250mL) of premium dry food weighs approximately 120g. You can then use those measurements against your pet’s weight to determine how many cups they should have every day. From there, you can measure how often you should order more food.
For example, a 20kg dog will need around 2⅓ cups of food every day – approximately 300g daily. If you usually buy a 2.5kg bag, then all their food will be gone in around eight days, so you’ll want to set up a weekly subscription.

Sometimes other factors play into how much your pet eats, such as their breed and their exercise levels. A working dog like a Border Collie, for example, may end up needing a larger daily serving of Kangaroo & Turkey – Active Dog pet food than other dogs who aren’t running around all day long.

For example, maybe you like to stock up on our large 20kg bags of Kangaroo & Lamb – Adult Dog but your pup also loves our Tasty Duck Chews. No doubt your dog is going to go through the packet of treats a lot faster than 20kg of dry food, so you can set up the kibble’s frequency for every four weeks, and get a separate subscription for the chew treats to be delivered weekly or fortnightly. It’s that simple!
And remember, you’re never locked into a Hypro Premium Subscription. If you change your mind or need to stop for any reason, you can customise, delay or cancel your subscription anytime.
