The most common breed of dog in the country is the loyal Labrador Retriever. They are a medium to large dog and are commonly used as guide dogs for the visually impaired and in law enforcement as sniffer dogs. It is a great working dog but also a lovable pet with its kind temperament and high energy. The next most popular breed is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, also known as the Staffy. Despite their menacing appearance, the Staffy’s big smile paired with its fun-loving character make it impossible to resist. They are loyal pets who are intelligent and courageous, making them a great member of the family.
