Lockyer Lucerne Products (LLP) specialises in using 100% natural lucerne which is more commonly known as Alfalfa. Alfalfa is a premium product that has been specifically cultivated from local and interstate harvests which are then used by Hypro Premium in the manufacture of our range.

Through our partner’s innovation and technology, the locally grown and sourced Lucerne is processed in a specialised method via the tub grinder, conditioning chamber, and a hammer mill to create lucerne meals. The lucerne meal is then exposed to heating and pressurised to reach a minimum temperature of 85 degrees in order to create quality sterile lucerne pellets.

This manufacturing process ensures that all lucerne pellets are 100% composed of Lucerne with no chemicals or additives present in the finished product.
